The air filter on my portable welder was loose when I went to use it today. On further investigation, the holes in the carburetor body are all busted out and screwed up. The engine is a single cylinder 12 horse Kohler Iron Line. Anybody got one of those carb bodies laying around that I could buy??

Yup, got one off a 14 but the throttle shaft is loose. Expensive little bastads, I spent about a year watching them bring $179 new on ebay and finally scored one a guy bought new but never used for $69. Anyway, the 14 didn't run better with a new carb so I must have other issues, yadda yadda, you can have this one.

According to that, the 12 and 14 don't take the same carb. Maybe the one I have won't work.
