Yard sales everywhere. I score a nice clean drier, 8x8 greenhouse, 10 steel posts and a couple of those things you stack folding chairs in (plan is for firewood. All that for $165
Then I found a Clifford 300-6 finned aluminum valve cover and a new set of EFI split manifolds, plus some old drum brake parts I needed, $20 for it all. Those Clifford valve covers are like $275 new.

There used to be a "modified" running at the Kalispell track that had a 300-6 in it with a Clifford 6=8 manifold...sure ran great and the sound was awesome!! Haven't seen any of that stuff for a long time...are they still around?

I threw it up on the HAMB fir $165 and it sold in just a few hours. Yeah I could have used it bit I need the money and the old six is kind of on it's way out. It needs some loving. It still runs good and doesn't used any oil but it's always been a gas hog and lately it has lost a lot of power. Maybe the cat is plugging up but I haven't had time to gut it and see. I really hope to get the 60 F100 on the road with a 302 auto and the Power strike when I get time to get a bed on it. Between those 2 I am thinking the old 300's days are numbered as a useful member of my fleet. It's always been hard on gas amd now it's getting worse. I filled today and it took 17 + gallons to go about 150 miles.
