    manpower baby--that's one of the wildest things i have seen---you would have to be going to bruno,ne to know where it is--looks like a buncha swedes(danes,finns--whatever-of which i do belong in part to that tribe) to me--lol--i had to look it up on the map--i'll bet they don't even get mail everyday How to move a barn 301330

    I love it!! There was an article in the Small Farmer's Journal a few years ago about a bunch of Amish moving a chicken coop like that...but it wasn't near the size of that thing!

    Thats one of the neatest things I've seen in a long time. Some of the old ones looked to be in dang good shape.

    The wood that was used in them is so much better than any you find now a days! Even the one we just moved, which was built in the last 50 years...the wood's incredible! All Western Larch and Douglas Fir, and hardly ANY twist or grain deviation!!! Gorgeous stuff! They're definately worth salvaging! I've seen some really neat homes built from the "timber framing" from an old barn!
