Perfect! That should work great, with the fittings and all! Best part is, you'll have it on and running just in time for warmer weather!! Your projects take the same timeframes as mine!!! (as far as I'm concerned, that puts ME in pretty good company!!)

Do you have room under the hood to leave more metal on the left side of the piece?
Like cut it at that halfway line in the center of your picture
Then you can drill your water hole out side the boltholes and don't have to be so picky on tolerances

That's what I was talking about,
Just center the water hole between the cut line and left bolt holes, good luck
