    Parts Empty Parts

I try to do local business whenever I can but it seems like I lean more on the internet anymore. Mom's old 98 Merc Grand Marquis needs an intake. Local Carquest $288, Napa $268, Rockauto $239 plus shipping, ebay $203 shipped. All for the Dorman part. I don't mind paying 10%-15% more to keep business local but 30% will send me whorin around.
She gave me the car and I don't have the inclination to fix it right now but will probably get it done when it warms up enough outside. Maybe by then I will come across a junk 4.6 that already had the upgraded intake manifold.

The local NAPA here in Mesquite is the DFW warehouse store so they have a pretty good selection but NAPA also has a OLD parts store in Terrel Tx. We made a few runs out to it during the 67 build

It's a plastic intake but the replacement ones have the coolant part made from aluminum.

I have a 4.6 intake but it has a snake on it Parts 301330

I only deal with NAPA whenever possible....it also helps that a neighbor is the store manager in Cheyenne.

JD, I don,t think that snake will be much of a problem at 12deg.
Just break off pieces until you get the last piece out Parts 301330
